Content Marketing Director, Left Right Media

Left Right Media is a branding and marketing agency in Austin, Texas, founded in 2014. The firm specializes in branding and positioning, visual identity, web development, and digital marketing.

Working collaboratively with our design and development team, I'm able to ensure that our developed content strategies and campaigns are optimized for impact and conversion across all channels (print, social, email, and web).

My day-to-day involves all strategy, planning, and execution of digital marketing efforts for our client base. This role requires a high degree of versatility and a strong account management background, as it balances client-facing communications with consultation on social media marketing, digital ads on Facebook and Instagram, email campaigns, photoshoot art direction, content marketing, and article creation.

 

Marketing Manager, EarBuds App
Austin, Texas · 2018

EarBuds is a social music app that allows users to broadcast playlists and listen live with friends and followers. It’s a music discovery platform, social network, and one of the only listening services to secure a partnership with both Spotify and Apple Music.

My role as the marketing lead was to develop the go-to-market plan for our U.S. and overseas launch: social media/branding, art direction, email strategy, local/national PR, paid media, events and partnerships, as well as beta deployment and retention.

 

Content Marketer, FloMarching
Austin, Texas · 2017 — 2018

My role grew our channel and subscriber base by promoting our national brand and events. Core functions included community management and content creation for social media (Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube); management of paid media campaigns on Facebook and Instagram; design collaboration for event graphics; email creation; live promotion during events; and external communication with event partners.

 

Marketing Specialist & Brand Planner, Main Street Hub
Austin, Texas · 2014 — 2017

In my 3.5 years at Main Street Hub (now owned by GoDaddy), I felt like I grew just as much as the company did. Typical to the startup experience, my title and responsibilities shifted as business needs changed; when I left the company in the fall of 2017, I'd been promoted to five different roles. I began as a Community Manager in 2014, writing copy for hundreds of local businesses, and in the next couple of years, I had pioneered several new roles in design, branding, and social media consulting. My final position with MSH was in Product, working to engineer tests to redesign the customer experience and to define behaviors in the customer lifecycle.
