Content Marketer, FloMarching

As the Content Marketer, my role grew the FloMarching channel and subscriber base by promoting our national brand and events through social media and content marketing.
My day-to-day involved: community management and content creation for social media (Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube); management of paid media campaigns on Facebook and Instagram; design collaboration for event graphics; email creation; live promotion during events; and external communication with event partners.
In a period of six months, I added 46,399 followers to FloMarching's social media following.
As a member of the marching team, I also helped produce video pieces, participated in our weekly podcast, and occasionally wrote articles like this one: "What Does International Women's Day Mean In the Marching Arts?"
This series, "Ask Andy" was a social engagement concept to source questions from teens thinking about joining drum corps. I wrote the script, produced the video, and gave feedback on editing.
